Worship at Ascension is done in a traditional setting utilizing the newly published Lutheran Service Book. Services also include a Children's Message usually led by Pastor Lemmermann, but an occasional "Special Guest" may make an appearance.
Communion is served during service in the "close-communion" practice, meaning that anyone wishing to take communion with us is welcomed, but should believe and understand they are receiving the True Body and Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Visitors from outside the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod are encouraged to speak with Pastor Lemmermann before service begins.
Sunday morning service times are 8:00 A.M. and 10:45 A.M. in the Sanctuary, Nursery is available during services. Coffee and Donut Fellowship is enjoyed following the 8:00 A.M. service in our Family Life Center.
Sunday school classes begin at 9:30 A.M. and are discussed in detail on the "Sunday School" page of our web site.
